Take time to have a close look at the restaurant and Cedar bar and enjoy the ambience and feeling of history you will find there. The ornate cedar scrolls in the corners of the room, the magnificent cedar panel above the bar and the juror’s bench were all part of the original Parramatta Court House.
The tables and chairs are Red Cedar and were collected from the old Adams and Mayfair hotels in Sydney. The enormous ceiling beams are of mahogany from the forests of the Dorrigo Plateau, the stones of the fireplace come from the Bellinger River and the photographs and treasures displayed around the walls were donated by the descendants of the earliest settlers in the valley.
